These include those State government entities involved with gambling including the State Legislature, Gamblers Anonymous, Gam-Anon, problem gambling treatment providers and all of the businesses providing legal gambling in Indiana. The ICPG works to ensure that state funded quality treatment for problem gambling exists and to ensure that those providing treatment are among the best trained therapists in the country by providing approximately 30 hours of training each year by the best presenters in North America. We offer help for gambling problems 24/7. This help includes direct referral to individuals and organizations involved with assisting problem gamblers and their family members and friends. Our other activities focus on raising the awareness of the issue of problem gambling in Indiana. Strategic Alliance
Homes for the Homeless is a mission of Strategic Alliance that started in 1993 when a missionary couple visited an area surrounding the border town of Reynosa, Mexico. Seeing the landscape for the first time, it was a sight of unimaginable deprivation. Families, who had nowhere to go, settled on a dusty piece of land previously used as a trash dump. They make do with what they can find, forming tiny dwellings out of scrap boards, pallets, cardboard, tin and pieces of plastic. Hope has no borders.
