The main purpose of the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet is to provide nutritious food to individuals and families who do not have sufficient resources to purchase it themselves. This group includes low income workers, seniors, disabled, unemployed, homeless, and people in transition. We utilize the USDA nutrition guideline to ensure the families receive the right types of foods.

Founded in Richmond, VA in 1998 by four YWAM staff and professionals who met to pray together, the Student Mobilization Centre is today a wholly religious not-for-profit 501(c)(3) Virginia corporation. SMC now operates as a foreign not-for-profit corporation in New Jersey.
