The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut provides mental health services to children struggling with psychological, behavioral, developmental, social, or family problems, age birth to 18, in Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, and New Canaan, Connecticut. Our purpose is to reduce emotional suffering and dysfunctional behavior, strengthen families, and help every child achieve their optimal potential. Children in our programs cope with a variety of factors that impact their health and happiness, including bullying, family difficulties, school challenges, neglect, or even physical and sexual abuse. We have a range of programs to meet the unique needs and circumstances of every child and family. From ongoing therapy to emergency crisis response, we ensure the safety of our youngest community members, teaching them to take charge and self-manage their challenges so that they can enjoy a strong, healthy childhood. To ensure that our services reach every corner of the community, we have five office locations including on-site at a charter school. Money is never a barrier to a child who needs our help, as no family is turned away. We provide financial assistance to families who cannot afford the cost of therapy, ensuring that children at greatest risk receive the help they need.

Youth Outreach Services (YOS) is a non-profit comprehensive youth services agency. YOS serves at-risk youth, ages 12 to 21 years, and their families, who are struggling at school, at home, or in their communities throughout Chicago and Cook County . We help youth to overcome their challenges through programs that may fall into four specific service categories: Counseling Services/Behavioral Health, Prevention Services, Child Welfare/Foster Care, and Juvenile Justice. DIABETES AID AND RESEARCH FUND
DARF is dedicated to providing information about nutrition and diabetes to the general public. DARF also sponsors and supports continuing research into methodologies for treating diabetes and other degenerative diseases. The organizational services and programs include research grants to hospitals and medical clinics to assist with their work in the field of diabetes and related disease treatments, providing medical supplies used in the treatment of diabetes to hospitals and clinics, and sponsoring programs specifically for children with diabetes. DARF also provides information to victims of diabetes and their families, so they may be informed and learn more about the disease they now have to cope with.
